Dear Chamber Member,
Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your Chairman this
year.
Every new year brings a fresh start and a good healthy dose of
optimism. This year, as our national economy begins its climb into
economic recovery, our Chamber and our region will be leading the
way.
Our region is blessed by geography, by great hard-working
citizens, by an educational system that is second to none, by an
entrepreneurial spirit, and by being the home of Robins Air Force
Base. These are the ingredients to our successes.
As the largest business association in the region, it is our
responsibility to foster cooperation and provide leadership to meet
our community’s challenges.
2010 for the Chamber did not begin in January. It actually began
in November of 2009 when our board members, committee chairs and
other leaders gathered for our annual Goals Conference to iron out
the details of our Tactical Plan for the year.
As you review the successes of 2009 in this Annual Report, you
will also have an opportunity to preview our Tactical Plan
highlights for 2010. Your input is critical and your involvement
will be pivotal to our success.
I encourage you to sign up for the committee or committees of
your choice and help us as we work to ensure that Georgia’s Robins
Region remains the best place in the United States in which to live,
work, visit and conduct business.
Sincerely,
